Visiting Workshop in Takaoka: For the Sake of Anyone Who We Might not Have Seen Yet SEASON 04
Viewing characteristic and fantastic films, animations, mangas and literatures (aka ‘sub-cultural media’) ever made in Toyama-prefecture and Hokuriku area as our important references, the workshop’s aim is to derive the women’s images and lives from these characters in order to find visions for the future, ideas or suggestions for the urban planning and the community design. This will be the fourth season since we started in the City of Takaoka in Toyama and it has been becoming the opportunity as a creative network, ‘sharing the sensibility’.
It’s opened to students, business workers and all who is interested in film, architecture, urbanism, literature, representational culture or art as well as the place of Hokuriku. No creative skills are necessary though we’ll ask you to make two or three-dimensional work to express your interpretation with an assistance by the Cinématic Architecture Tokyo’s staff. You can participate the part of the program as a trial if you like.
＊The phrase ’ For the Sake of Anyone Who We Might not Have Seen Yet’ is taken from a dialogue of Satoko Kizaki’s the Akutagawa Literature Prize awarded novel, The Phoenix Tree (1985) which is located in the city of Takaoka.

＊We suggest attendants to research the materials referring to the list bellow on your own in advance.

Lecture Hall third floor, Museum of Takaoka City, (1-5 Kojo, Takaoka-shi, Toyama-prefecture / Kojo Koen Park)
＊College students studying architecture, urban-planning, design and art as well as people coming from outside Toyama prefecture are very much welcomed.

○Landscape Projection
Cinematic Architecture Tokyo will present two-days projection event screening fantastical images onto a traditional house in the middle of the scattered village. It is also our urban exhibition as the integrational experiment with film + architecture + art + urbanism.
