Workshop: From Cinema to Architecture, Possibilities of Cinematic Architecture

It is a unique attempt at expression as cinematic architecture that links the different media of architecture and film. Not just specialists, but anyone interested in both architecture and cinema, in art and literature, in reading more about cinema and architecture, in deepening knowledge and thinking, and in expanding perspectives with thought experiment is very much welcome.

Attempts to ‘transform’ your inspiration taken from films into another media
The participants will choose one or more of the films on the list, study them and transform the inspiration into something different, such as architecture, objects (assemblages), drawings, collages, images, films, texts, fashion, urban planning or proposals. The format of expression can be digital, analogue or text. Tutors will support you from study to expression, consulting with your direction on the method.

You will not only create, but also discuss film and architecture in between. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, so please feel free to come along.

*The term 'architecture' here is not limited only to buildings, but also includes structures, systems and art forms in the broadest sense, and respects the participants' own interpretation of ‘architecture'.
